sue paraskeva

We're massively chuffed about our new additions. The pieces above are made at the studio of Sue Paraskeva on the Isle of Wight and we think they go perfectly with our love for fantastic quality, simple design and products that are not mass produced. Sue Paraskeva is not only one of the loveliest people I've ever met, she too is the most talented! Sue uses recycled porcelain and a porcelain and stoneware mix for her pieces and these are made on an electricity free momentum wheel, of which I've marveled at on each visit!
Sue has used this method along with reduction firing in a gas kiln, in the creation of her work over the last 16 years.
We now stock a selection of Sue's work and to celebrate this we are giving away one of the 'Speckled Grey Jugs'  The jug is a porcelain and stoneware mix and the inside is finished with a clear glaze.
Also new for us is, our fen and ned facebook page, where we will keep you up to date with all things new. So to enter the giveaway, please pop over and 'like' our facebook page, where we will reveal the winner of the jug (chosen at random) on Monday 10th October at Midday (ish) GMT

Beautiful porcelain, it looks too good to use, and makes me want to eat proper vanilla bean ice cream. I also didn't know you were on pinterest, as a new convert I am popping over to your boards now. Toodle pip!
